Miguel launches new colour scheme for 2007
Miguel Pinto Coelho has launched
a new colour scheme in reference
to his new sponsor Louropel,
for his charge to the UK F4
Championship in 2007 with Absolute
Racing. Miguel made his debut
for the team at the last round
of the 2006 Championship where
he raced from last on the grid
to 5th overall. Miguel hopes
to take that form into this
season Championship and push
for outright race wins and the
Championship.
Miguel said "I am looking
forward to the challenge of
the championship race. We raced
well last year but this year
I hope to get race wins. I think
my closest challenger will be
my team mate Steve who has gone
well in testing so far. I hope
Steve and I will be able to
push each other on during the
season"
Team boss Chris Hodgen said
"Miguel is a fast driver
but he just needs a bit more
time in the car to gain a little
more confidence as the season
develops. I think Steve will
have the upper hand at the start
but I think Miguel will be snapping
at his heels soon enough"
Pre season testing begins on
the 2nd March at Oulton Park
before heading to Silverstone
the following week and Snetterton
the week after.
