Absolute Racing set to expand in 2007
Absolute Racing looks
set to expand to sports
cars as well as single
seaters in 2007 with a
2 car campaign in the
popular Ginetta Sports
car Championship. Absolute
Racing boss Chris Hodgen
started his Motorsport
career in a Ginetta G27
back in 1999.
Chris said, “I have
known Martin Phaff, Managing
Director of Ginetta Cars
for over 7 years and think
he has done a great job
in getting Ginetta cars
to be one of the most
popular racing Championships
in the UK. I said to Martin
a couple of years ago
that I would be back soon
and I have pestered him
for a drive in the new
G20 for a while. But I
will be back as a team
boss and not a driver”
Absolute Racing will run
a Gulf Oil sponsored car
for a yet to be named
driver and hope to run
another customer car as
well.
