Absolute Racing have joined forces with the University of Manchester to give real life practical work experience to it’s Motor Sport degree students.

Absolute will be joined for the whole 2007 season by Joe Lawton, one of the top students at the university who replaces Barclay Danahar as graduate trainee with the leading F4 team. Barclay, who completed his apprenticeship with Absolute in 2006, has joined Hitech F3 team as a number 2 mechanic as part of a technical deal Absolute has with the leading F3 team.

Joe will hope his experience gained in 2007 will lead to a similar graduation in 2008.
